8. PUBLIC FORUM

- to consider items of public forum sent to the Downs Committee. Interested parties can submit a written statement of approximately one side of A4 to the Downs Committee by sending it to the Democratic Services Officer no later than 12.00 noon on Friday 20th November 2009 on the contact information below.

9. REPORT OF THE DOWNS RANGER

- to update the committee on works and developments carried out since the last meeting.

10. DELEGATED AND UPCOMING EVENTS PROPOSED ON THE DOWNS

- to note the events and filming that have taken place between Committee meetings under Delegated Powers

- to note proposed future events between Committee meetings

11. FUNDERWORLD 2010

- to consider the issues surrounding the previous Funderworld applications and decide whether James Mellors Amusements Ltd should be permitted to host a Funderworld event on the Downs from Friday 2nd April - Sunday 18th April 2010, subject to the full approval of the Bristol Safety Advisory Group for Events.

12. LADIES MILE - BRISTOL ZOO CAR PARK

- to approve the renewal of the seasonal licence for the zoo car park for five years in principle, subject to confirmation of :-

a) the terms of the proposed funding for the Avon Gorge and Downs Wildlife Project and:
b) the terms of the ecological and user monitoring for the car park.

13. DRAFT MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE BRISTOL SIDE OF THE AVON GORGE

- to seek approval of the draft Management Plan

14. FINANCIAL OUTTURN 2009/10

- to note the financial position for 2009/10

15. DATE OF NEXT MEETING
