3. PUBLIC FORUM

- to consider items of public forum sent to the Downs Committee. Interested parties can submit a written statement of approximately one side of A4 to the Downs Committee by sending it to the Democratic Services Officer no later than 12.00 noon on Friday 26th March 2010 on the contact information below.

4. REPORT OF THE DOWNS RANGER

- to update the committee on works and developments carried out since the last meeting.

5. AVON GORGE & DOWNS WILDLIFE PROJECT - TENTH ANNUAL REVIEW AND EDUCATION PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT

- to approve funding of £3000 towards the employment of a seasonal educational officer for the Avon Gorge and Downs Wildlife Project for summer 2010.

6. ANNUAL REVIEW OF THE DOWNS 5-YEAR WORK PLAN

- to adopt the revised 5-year work plan

7. DELEGATED AND UPCOMING EVENTS PROPOSED ON THE DOWNS

- to note the events and filming that have taken place between Committee meetings under Delegated Powers

8. FILIPINO FESTIVAL (BARRIO FESTIVAL)

- to consider an application from The Association of Filipinos in Bristol to use The Downs for a Filipino Festival (Barrio Fiesta) on the 24th July 2010.

9. CIRCUS ON THE DOWNS

- to consider the extenuation of the contract for the annual Circus on The Downs.

10. BRISTOL UNPLUGGED - THIS ITEM HAS NOW BEEN WITHDRAWN

- to consider an application from Bristol Unplugged to use The Downs for a music festival from the 9-10th October 2010.

11. SCHEDULE OF CHARGES FOR EVENTS 2010-11

- to adopt the proposed changes

12. CLIFTON HILL CAMP FORT

- to endorse the proposed scheme of works to manage Clifton Camp, subject to gaining statutory approvals and the Public Information/Feedback project.

13. FINANCIAL OUTTURN 2009/10

- to note the likely financial position for 2009/10

14. DRAFT BUDGET 2010/11

- to approve the budget for 2010/11

15. DATE OF ANNUAL MEETING IN NOVEMBER 2010

- to confirm whether to change the date of the Annual meeting from 22nd to 29th November 2010.

16. DATE OF NEXT MEETING

The next meeting is 5th July 2010 at 11.00 am at the Merchants' Hall, The Promenade, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 3NH.
