2. DOWNS COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP CHANGES
- to note changes to the membership of the Downs Committee resulting from the Council elections.
3. MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD ON 11th APRIL 2011
- to be confirmed as a correct record.
4. PUBLIC FORUM
- to consider items of public forum sent to the Downs Committee. Interested parties can submit a written statement of approximately one side of A4 to the Downs Committee by sending it to the Democratic Services Officer no later than 12.00 noon on Friday 1st July 2011 on the contact information below.
5. BRISTOL WATER PROPOSED NEW WATER MAIN AFFECTING THE DOWNS
- to receive an update on the current proposals
6. PROPOSALS FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO DOWNS PLAY AREA
- to consider proposals for future redevelopment of the Downs Play Area
- to receive an update on works and developments carried out since the last meeting.
8. DELEGATED AND UPCOMING EVENTS PROPOSED ON THE DOWNS
- to note the events and filming that have taken place between Committee meetings under Delegated Powers
- to note proposed future events between Committee meetings
- to note the review of the Funderworld event held in April 2011 and raise any issues
- to note the accounts for 2010/11 subject to audit and the budget for 2011/12

11. RESTRICTED ACCESS / ROAD CLOSURES ON THE DOWNS
Copy of email communication received from Mr Warwick Hulme, City Sightseeing Bristol and response.
12. PARKING CONGESTION - THE DOWNS
As requested by the former Lord Mayor at the last meeting, a letter from Mr Warwick Hulme was passed on to Highways Department for a response. The letter and response are attached.
13. DATE OF NEXT MEETING
The next meeting is 12th September 2011 at 4.30pm at The Council House, College Green.
