Purpose:
This report seeks approval to accept a grant
from the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership for the
Bristol elements of the Open Programmable City Region initiative,
for the delivery plan for the project and authority to spend that
grant.
Decision:
1. Accepted the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership Grant of up to £4.04m for the Open Programmable City Region initiative.
2. Agreed the approach to governance and delivery of the Project
3. Agreed the spending of the grant to manage the Project
4. Agreed the procurement of a programme/project manager to manage the Bristol OPCR Project
5. Delegated the Executive Director for Growth and Regeneration the authority to enter into necessary agreements to achieve the Bristol OPCR Project in consultation with the Cabinet Member with responsibility for Finance, Governance and Performance.
