Purpose:

To seek approval to adopt the Local Authority Declaration on Healthy Weight by February 2020 and to work with Public Health on the Alive Bristol programme.

Decision:

1. Cabinet noted Bristol City Council’s adoption of the Local Authority Declaration on Healthy Weight by February 2020, committing to promoting healthy weight and implementing policies which influence the whole city.

 

2. Cabinet noted Bristol City Council Directors approval of their teams working with Public Health on the Alive Bristol programme.
