Purpose:

The monetary value is above £100,000 and Cabinet (April 2022) has provided Delegated Authority.
April 2022 Cabinet:
Authorised the Chief Executive in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Finance, Governance and Performance and Director for Policy, Strategy and Digital to take all steps necessary, (including procuring and awarding any relevant contracts which may be over £500k), for delivering the telephony project/solution at a total estimated cost of £4.5m.
July 2022 Cabinet:
Noted an increase to the expected one-off costs of the Digital Transformation Projects (DTP1) agreed by Cabinet in September 2021, which are included in the overall budget to be approved in this report, and the risk of increase to the ongoing costs outlined for Telephony project agreed by Cabinet in April 2022, which will be managed by the Programme within its total proposed financial envelope.

Decision:

Approval to award to “Intuitive Systems and Networks Ltd” for the provision of new telephony services. These will include Cisco Webex Contact Centre and Microsoft Teams Phone Direct Routing and supporting SIP Trunking.

Full OJEU Process – Open Procedure used due to unavailability of required solutions via frameworks, following market testing and benchmarking.
