Purpose:
To purchase 4 new mild hybrid trucks for the
city council fleet.
Decision:
Bristol City Council, Fleet Services has
carried out a further competition using an existing framework
agreement (The Procurement Partnership Ltd Framework Agreement
HCC1811097) and awarded a contract for 4 x new mild hybrid trucks.
The requirement for these types of vehicles were served via Lot 2
– Light and Medium Commercial Vehicles up to 12.5T of the
above Framework Agreement. This Lot has a number of manufacturers
for these requirements.
Alternative options considered:
Option 1 - No other option considered as this
is a compliant route to market. The Framework Agreement is
comprehensive insofar as it has all the leading vehicle
manufacturers listed on this framework and therefore are able to
submit tenders for our requirements.
