Purpose:

Delegated decision to ensure continuity of business support until 3 year UKSPF funded contract commences in Summer 2023.

Decision:

To extend the current universal business support contract due to expire on 31st March 2023 until 30th June 2023.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - Option to allow current universal business support to end on 31st March 2023. This option was rejected to avoid Bristol SMEs and start-up businesses being unable to access support until summer 2023. UKSPF funding is available to extend the current contract until the longer term contract is in place.
