Purpose:

To maintain this business-critical service whilst a full contract re-tender opportunity is undertaken.

Decision:

1.Approval for The Bottle Yard Studios to extend Provision of IT Services contract with Bristol IT Company Ltd for a period of 6 months between July 2023 and Jan 2024, providing services for both the main site and the expansion site ‘TBY2’.
2.Determine that all necessary approvals are in place in order to extend the contract and that a further cabinet decision is not required.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - As this service is business critical to the running of The Bottle Yard Studios, there is no other alternative option available for consideration. The re-tender of the contract will commence in June 2023. Accordingly, no further contract extensions with the incumbent supplier are envisaged.
