Primary and secondary school admission arrangements and co-ordinated scheme for the 2021/2022 academic year
Decision Maker: Director: Education and Skills
Decision status: Recommendations Approved
Is Key decision?: No
Is subject to call in?: No
Purpose:
The admission arrangements are largely
unchanged. However, minor changes to wording/phrasing have been
written in line with guidance from the DfE.
Reduction in pupil admission numbers at Nova Primary School and
Summerhill Infant school was made in calibration with the school in
response to falling birth rates and the resulting drop in demand
for primary school places.
Decision:
To agree the proposed school admission
arrangements and co-ordinated schemes for primary and secondary
schools for the 2021/2022 academic year.
To agree the proposals to reduce the Published Admission Number
(PAN) at the following schools:
•Nova Primary School – From 60 to 30
•Summerhill Infant School – From 90 to 60
