Secondary school place planning projections
clearly show that without the provision of extra year 7 places in
2020 there will be a deficit within East Bristol resulting in the
council failing to deliver its statutory responsibility to ensure
places are available for all children in the city.
Decision:
To allocate basic need capital grant to
undertake construction works to accommodate a temporary bulge in
admission numbers at Bristol Metropolitan Academy

The delays to the DfE procured new free school
