Purpose:

The current Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) runs from 20th October 2017 until 20th October 2020. Under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 Revised: August 2019 PSPOs can remain in place for up to 3 years. They can be reviewed and extended, or allowed to lapse. They can also have the area extended and further conditions applied.

Decision:

To extend the Bedminster PSPO for a further 3 years in its present form. The extended PSPO duration will run until 20th October 2023.

Alternative options considered:

To allow the PSPO to lapse and to be no longer in effect.
