Purpose:

To confirm the award of grant funding to those businesses detailed. The total award for this tranche is £2,309,062 and the total value of awards under the discretionary grant scheme is £4,724,133 as outlined in the attached table.

Decision:

The Council has been awarded funding of £4.728m by the government to deliver a discretionary grant funding scheme. West of England regional authorities’ have joined together to develop a framework policy under which grant funding can be delivered, supporting those businesses with fixed ongoing property costs and who were not entitled to claim grant funding from previous government schemes. This is the final tranche of funding allocated under the policy.
