Purpose:

The Council has up to £5.4m of capital funding to be allocated to support the delivery of affordable housing in the City. The sites / projects identified for this 2nd bidding round were instigated at a time when there was significantly more funding available under the previous AHFP and are relying on the Council for its funding support to secure the delivery of the affordable homes. The Council is making the sites available for these projects and is committed to supporting delivery, subject to the terms of the AHFP being met.

Decision:

The Bristol City Council Affordable Housing Funding Policy (AHFP) 2022-2025, supports the targeted offer of capital funding for affordable housing delivery, with affordable housing providers being invited to compete for funding through a bidding round process. This decision approves a 2nd bidding round for affordable housing capital funding to be made available for the developers of the following projects:
Hillfields Park Community Centre - Hillfields Family

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - Bids were submitted during the initial The AHFP 2022- 2025 CLH bid round launched on 8 June 2022 but were unsuccessful.
