Purpose:
To acknowledge the Councils new powers and
responsibilities under the Housing and Planning Act 2016
and to approve a revised Private Housing Enforcement Policy and new
Civil Penalty policy which will allow
the Council to implement the new powers.
Decision:
Approved the revised Private Housing Enforcement Policy and the new Civil Penalty Notice Policy and in accordance with the Council’s constitution authorised the Director of Neighbourhoods to delegate the powers to officers as set out in the report
