Purpose:

This report gives an update on the MetroWest Phase 1 project and considers future options.

Decision:

That Cabinet:

1.             Delegated authority to the Director of Transport, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Transport, and; Director of Legal and Democratic Services, to finalise, sign and seal the Initial Promotion Agreement (version 3) in conjunction with the four other authorities.

 

2.       Noted that The Initial Promotion Agreement (version 3) does not place any obligation or liability on any of the authorities to construct the project and does not place additional financial liability, above that already committed, on Bristol City Council.
