The purpose of this report is to:

2.      Note and comment on the H&CSP landlord compliance programme backlog performance report (Appendix Aii).

3.      Note and comment on the business-as-usual landlord compliance performance report (Appendix Aiii).

4.      Note and comment on the ‘root cause’ reviews update.

5.      Note and comment on the draft Consumer Standards Improvement Strategy (Appendix Aiv).

6.      Note and comment on the feedback from the recent Housing Scrutiny Panel and Winter Housing Forums.

7.      Note and comment on the update from the latest regulatory review meeting with the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH).

The Committee considered a report setting out an update on:

1. The Housing & Consumer Standards Programme (H&CSP) improvement plan summary (Appendix Ai).

3. The business-as-usual landlord compliance performance report (Appendix Aiii).

4. The ‘root cause’ reviews update.

The Chair commented that there were no decisions to be taken on this report, which was for information only.

In discussion, assurance was given around the recognition of the importance of effectively tackling damp and mould issues.

It was noted that progress on the full range of actions being taken would continue to be reported regularly to the Committee
