Minutes:

The Chair welcomed the attendees to the first Overview and Scrutiny Management Boardmeeting of the municipal year. The meeting was held to confirm the Annual Scrutiny Work Programme for the 2022 – 2023 year.

Apologies for absence

Apologies were received from Cllr Kent. Cllr Brown attended as a delegate.

Declarations of Interest

To note any declarations of interest from the Councillors.  They are asked to indicate the relevant agenda item, the nature of the interest and in particular whether it is a disclosable pecuniary interest.

 

Any declarations of interest made at the meeting which is not on the register of interests should be notified to the Monitoring Officer for inclusion.

The Chair noted that while it had been intended to publish the draft Scrutiny Work Programme in advance of the meeting this had not been possible. It was intended to publish the document shortly after the meeting.

Petitions and Statements - Petitions and statements must be received on the working day prior to the meeting.  For this meeting this means that your submission must be received in this office at the latest by 12.00 noon on Monday 6th June 22.

Annual Scrutiny Work Programme 2022-2023 pdf icon PDF 499 KB

Members will be participating in an informal workshop on Tuesday 7th June 22 where they will agree the Scrutiny Work Programme for 22/23. The purpose of this meeting is to ratify the outcome of the workshop, which will be published as soon as possible on 7th June 22.  This may include consideration of any changes to the Scrutiny Terms of Reference.
