From 2012 - 2024, the Mayor formed a Cabinet. The Cabinet was made up of
the Mayor and Cabinet members, each with a portfolio of services to
oversee.
The Cabinet's role was to:

provide leadership
·
propose the budget and policy
framework
·
implement policy through strategic
directors.
The Cabinet, which met in public, provided
accountable leadership to the city.

Council year is published in the Mayor’s
Forward Plan.
