What is an Area Committee?

Starting in 2024, Bristol has nine area committees that decide how local funds are spent to improve their areas. Each ward is in one of these committees. More information on which Bristol wards are in each area committee and what area committees do can be found on our webpage.

These committees are made up of local Councillors who use their community knowledge to make decisions.
