Replace the Edward Colston statue with a memorial to Bristol's role in the slave trade

We the undersigned Want to create a memorial to acknowledge Bristol's role within the slave trade / treatment of BAME people within the city.

It is important to express remorse and regret for the money made by the city through the cruelty of slavery. This will help build relations between communities and help those not from BAME communities understand their struggles and the role we as a city played. Hopefully leading to better understanding and treatment of all people in the future
