Colston name

We the undersigned The name of slave trader Edward Closton should be removed from all streets and public buildings in the City of Bristol

Edward Colston was an 18th century slave trader, responsible for enslaving at least 80,000 Africans and also for the deaths of at least 10,000 who died or were murdered on voyages of his slave ships or coffin boats. The fact that he is commemorated in many places in Bristol is a disgrace and shame on our multicultural city. Action needs to be taken now.
