We the undersigned Reinstate the Edward Colston Statue with a plaque giving historical context, e.g. details on his part in the slave trade

To allow us to learn from history, see the flaws in human nature as well as strengths and appreciate where we are today in growing acceptance and tolerance between people of different groups. Allow honesty and learning for all human beings.
