We believe that the proposed scheme, that will cost over £15m, is a waste of taxpayers money as it:
will have a detrimental impact on the high street trade
will cause more congestion on surrounding roads
will not deliver an improved bus service
will not reduce pollution in any meaningful way

We also believe the majority of Bristolians are against the planned traffic schemes in Bristol including the proposal for Park St.
The way in which Bristol City Council are trying to force these proposals through with no regard to public opinion is undemocratic.
