Bus Service for Callington Road Hospital
We the undersigned Staff, Service users, Carers, Friends and Family of Callington Road Hospital petition Mr Marvin Rees, Elected Mayor and Bristol City Council to support First Direct Bus to re-instate a bus service to this major NHS Mental Health Facility in Bristol.
Currently many of our relatives/outpatient's/service users have
to battle traffic to get to and from the hospital, or face a
lengthy walk depending on disability from the nearest bus stops on
Wells/Bath Roads. In winter and darker nights this constitutes a
safety issue.
Some people, frail and elderly themselves have no other means of
transport.
A reliable bus service to Callington Road Hospital is definitely
required.
