Welcome to our online petition system. Here you can add your name to an existing petition or you can create a new one.

Taking part in or creating a petition is one way individuals, community groups and organisations can get involved in what the council does. It allows people to raise issues of public concern, giving councillors the opportunity to consider the need for change.

Anyone who lives, works or studies in Bristol can sign or create a petition. There is no age limit children and young people can also take part in or create a petition.

Supporting an e-Petition

To sign an existing e-Petition choose an e-Petition and add your name, address and email address. This information is needed in counting towards the threshold required for a full council debate.

Submitting an e-Petition

An e-Petition can relate to any issue on which the Council has powers or duties or on which it has shared delivery responsibilities through partnership arrangement.
