Safety in Redland Road near Colston's Primary School Elmgrove Annex

We the undersigned call on Bristol City Council to take immediate action to reduce safety hazards on Redland Road (section between Cotham Brow and Zetland Road); with particular regard to the safety of children attending Colston's Primary Elmgrove site.

The purpose of this petition is to impress upon the council the great concern held by local residents and parents about the danger of this stretch of road and, thereby, elicit action from the council to address road safety issues. These issues will become more pressing as the Bath Building Development involves the implementation of a “no left turn” which will increase the volume of traffic passing the Colson's Primary Elmgrove site.
