Bristol City Council has a statutory duty to
commission an information Advice and Support Service (IASS) to
provide free impartial, confidential and accurate information,
advice and support about education, health and social care for
children, young people and their parents, carers or family on
matters relating to special educational needs and disability
The current contract expires on the 31/5/19 and so a joint re-commissioning exercise was implemented with Bristol City Council Education Services, Bristol City Council Children and Families Social Care Services and NHS BNSSG Clinical Commissioning Group in line with Bristol City Council policy and EU Procurement legislation.
