Statutory group

This is a statutory commission insofar as Bristol City Council being an owner of sea walls, is required to appoint a commissioner.  The description ‘commissioner’ has similar legal responsibilities as a charity trustee.  The nominee does not need to be a councillor.

Work to conclude on the sea wall during 2022.  The intention is for North Somerset Council to be lead commissioner.
