The city council’s LA nominations to school and academy governing boards are not directly dealt with by the full Council or Outside Bodies Committee, but through a separate LA Governor Recruitment Panel.  The main purposes of the panel are to help recruit and recommend LA Governors of the highest calibre for appointment to the Strategic Director of People.
