5. THE REVIEW OF BRISTOL CITY COUNCIL MILEAGE ALLOWANCES


- to adopt the resolution of full Council and to note that the review of mileage allowances would not be pursued at this stage.

7. IMPLICATIONS FOR BRISTOL CITY COUNCIL RE CHANGES IN EMPLOYMENT LAW (APRIL 2009)


- for information regarding the changes in employment law and amendments to Council HR polices with effect from 6 April 2009.

8. PAY ARBITRATION CIRCULAR


- for information regarding the additional award of 0.30% to settle the 2008 pay dispute.


9. EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC


Recommended - that under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the consideration of the following items, on the ground that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part I of Schedule 12A to the Act (as amended).


BRISTOL CITY COUNCIL IS FULLY COMMITTED TO OPENNESS.
