To continue delivery of re-profiling residential children’s homes. A new model of smaller homes that more closely replicates ordinary family life will enable better matching opportunities, a better value for money service as well as improved outcomes for the children and young people placed in our homes.

As part of plans to re-profile existing provision and open 8 new smaller children’s homes. The next sale, a 5-bed property (3 placement home) in Hengrove, has completed.

Properties will be purchased over the next two years on the open market. Before proceeding with a sale, each property is viewed and carefully considered to determine whether it meets requirements for the Service and children e.g. location risk assessment and suitability for children.
