To commission civil engineering construction
works for the Portway Park
Alternative options considered:
Option 1 - The site has been left ready for
expansion when demand required. A new rail station is currently
being constructed at the site which will drive additional demand
for parking. The new pedestrian and cycle access will provide a
more direct route into the site and rail station for residents and
non-motorised users. Further delaying the delivery of these works
is likely to result in the site reaching capacity. Bids were
received from three contractors and evaluated against the published
evaluation criteria.
