Surveying of council properties is an
important function and a legal responsibility for us as part of our
duty of care to our tenants.
Decision:
Contract awarded to Casa Environmental
Services Ltd following a full competitive tender process complying
fully with all BCC procurement regulations. Contract awarded for 2
years with 2 possible 1 year extensions available. All of the works
are fully budgeted for in the Housing Revenue Account (HRA).
Alternative options considered:
Option 1 -
The contract was awarded to the successful contractor from the
procurement process. As there was not previously a contract in
place and there needs to be one to comply with procurement
regulations. There is no alternative to this.
