Purpose:

An open competition has been held in accordance with Bristol City Council, UK and EU procurement rules/laws to identify a suitable provider for the North and East Bristol – Universal Business Support project. Get Set for Growth have been selected as the preferred bid following receipt of bids and an assessment process in accordance with Bristol City Council Procurement processes.

Decision:

To approve the award of the NEB-UBS service provider contract to Get Set for Growth following an OJEU compliant open competition and tender assessment process.

Alternative options considered:

Option 1 - As fair and open competition was considered to be a viable route to sourcing a provider no other procurement routes have been considered. Two bids were received for the delivery of the service. Get Set for Growth received the higher overall assessment score and was the preferred bid.
