Purpose:

As this is a direct award OED guidance states, decisions between £100k and £249k need to be approved by a Director.

Decision:

Fleet Services are seeking to direct award its requirement for 2 x Hackney Taxi’s to LEVC on the
TPPL Framework.
This purchase is being undertaken in accordance with Commercial Services Kent Limited (CSKL) and TPPL Vehicle Purchase Framework TPPLCSKL02.
A Procurement Officer has been appointed to this project and the process being followed by Fleet Services has been approved by the Procurement Team.

Alternative options considered:

Mini tender to the TPPL considered and discounted as the outcome would be the same as the current proposal to direct award. LEVC are the only supplier on this framework that provides these types of vehicles.
