Decision:
Cabinet:
- Authorised additional funding of up to £1.4m to enable the works set out in the report to be progressed. To be temporarily funded from capital contingency.
- Noted that the additional funding will be met by the Council until such time that WECA agrees a grant offer letter.
- Noted that a decision may be taken in December by the WECA Joint Committee.
- Authorised the Executive Director Growth and Regeneration in consultation with S151 officer, monitoring officer and the Mayor to enter into all contracts required for the delivery of this work. For the avoidance of doubt, including contracts with a value of over £0.5m.
