Cabinet
Purpose of committee
Every year, the Mayor forms a Cabinet. The Cabinet is made up of the Mayor Marvin Rees and Cabinet members, each with a portfolio of services to oversee.
The Cabinet's role is to:
- provide leadership
- propose the budget and policy framework
- implement policy through strategic directors.
The Cabinet, which meets in public, provides accountable leadership to the city.
Advanced public notice of key decisions for each Council year is published in the Mayor’s Forward Plan.
