UNNECESSARY RESIDENTS PARKING ZONE

We the undersigned Want the council to look into how and why a 24 hour residents parking zone is being forced upon a area where well established businesses have operated for many decades. How can these businesses continue to operate if the council is stopping any custom to come to there business address in the own vehicles.

Edward road and chatsworth road are in the bs4 area of brislington outside of the city centre it is unbelievable that a 24 hour permit zone is being put in these streets. There are many successful businesses such as world famous bristol blue glass, bristols oldest indian restaurant curry house, bristols oldest independant motorbike shop aplins and bath road motorcycles to name a few, these businesses rely on parking spaces on these 2 streets to help run there business. Why has no one thought about these businesses when deciding on permit zones?
