Residents of the Box Makers Yard flats are unable to even purchase a parking permit for the surrounding roads as we are classed as being outside of any permit zones. The residents car park has a full waiting list and costs £135 a month. One of the nearby car parks has been shut for development and the other car park costs £130 a month (in a cost of living crisis). So the only options residents have are to pay £130 a month or receive parking tickets as there is no on street parking and a very limited amount of permit spaces .
