Ashton Court Railway

We the undersigned Wish the council to agree an affordable rent with the Bristol Model Engineers so that they may continue to operate their Miniature Railway in Ashton Court for the enjoyment and benefit of all who live in Bristol and surrounding areas.

The Bristol Model Engineers have developed the miniature railway over the past 46 years and during that period many generations of Bristolians, of all ages, have enjoyed a visit to the railway to experience a ride behind a steam powered model locomotive and to learn something about the construction and operation of the locomotive. The Bristol Model Engineers are a non profit organisation and members operate the railway as unpaid volunteers, income from passenger fares is funnelled back into the costs of maintaining and improving the railway infrastructure and rolling stock.
