Apologies for Absence Minutes: Apologies for Absence were received from Councillors Beech, Bradshaw, Mike Davies, Whittle and Windows. |

Declarations of Interest To note any declarations of interest from the Councillors. They are asked to indicate the relevant agenda item, the nature of the interest and in particular whether it is a disclosable pecuniary interest.
Any declarations of interest made at the meeting which is not on the register of interests should be notified to the Monitoring Officer for inclusion.

Freedom of the City PDF 179 KB To transfer the honour of Freedom of the City and County of Bristol to 39 Signal Regiment.
Additional documents: Minutes: The Council considered a report recommending the conferring of the honour of Freedom of the City and County of Bristol on 39 Signal Regiment (The Skinners).
The Lord Mayor introduced the report, and moved the recommendation.
The motion was seconded by Councillor Carey.
Following a number of speeches in support of the report, it was
RESOLVED – 1. That the Freedom of the City of Bristol be conferred upon 39 Signal Regiment (The Skinners) 2. That their name be placed on the Roll of Honorary Freeman of the City.
CO, Lt Col Vince Connelly then addressed the Chamber, accepted the certificate and signed the declaration book. |
